​Established in 1997 as an aggregate and roadways construction company, Tangle Ridge Custom Cushing Ltd. (Tangle Ridge) has grown to become a reliable civil, geotechnical and environmental construction company that has successfully completed over 1,500 projects throughout Western and Northern Canada. ​Tangle Ridge owns and operates heavy earthworks equipment, has a team of key regional personnel to provide top project management, inclusive site supervision and highly trained technicians to tackle the most complex projects.

JASON SIMPSON
President & CEO

Mr. Simpson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tangle Ridge and has been the operational leader for over 15 years. ​Under his leadership, Tangle Ridge has grown from a small company in Northern BC with only a handful of employees and resources to an organization of over 50 employees and more than 75 pieces of equipment that has completed hundreds of projects throughout Northern and Western Canada

STEVE TAYLOR, MBA, P.Geo.
Project director
Mr. Taylor is the Project Director at Tangle Ridge and oversees the general development of project teams, stakeholder relations, bid preparation, project & portfolio execution and contract management. ​Mr. Taylor has over 20 years of experience in the construction and environmental industry and has worked as an environmental consultant before transitioning over to environmental contacting in 2007 where he has successfully completed over 300 projects both directly and in a senior management role on some of the most challenging remediation and demolition projects throughout Northern and Western Canada

PHIL THOMPSON
General manager


​Mr. Thompson is the General Manager at Tangle Ridge and oversees the overall operational management of all field personnel and equipment. Mr. Thompson has been in the construction and earthworks industry for over 25 years, most of which has been spent as a field operations leader. Using his considerable experience in the construction industry he is looked at as someone who understands how to get the job done in an efficient, cost-effective and safe manner.

CORINNA SIMPSON, LPN
HEALTH & sAFETY DIRECTOR



​Mrs. Simpson is the Health & Safety Director for Tangle Ridge. She is responsible for directing, developing and overseeing the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization. She also ensures the company is in compliance with local, provincial and federal regulations and that periodic audits are completed. ​Mrs. Simpson is a Licensed Practical Nurse, registered with the BC College of Nursing Professionals for over 10 years.

OFFICE MANAGER





​Ms. Blize is the Office Manager at Tangle Ridge and responsible for the overall day to day office administration of the company. She has been with the organization for over 5 years and is an essential part of the company. She helps support our clients by providing administrative support and excellent customer service.  Ms. Blize is also involved in employee support.
