The project involved the remediation of shallow contaminated soils through off-site disposal, along with the in-situ treatment of deeper contamination using chemical oxidants, surfactants, and retarding agents.
Scope of Work
- Excavated, transported, and disposed of 12,500 metric tonnes of contaminated soil to a licensed facility.
- Installed a In-Situ Remedial Trench to complete deep soil remediation.
- Supplied, delivered, mixed and injected 2,000 m³ of a liquid oxidizing agent (hydrogen peroxide) by a specialized sub-contractor.
- Loaded, transported and placed 6,800 m³ of backfill provided by the site owner.
- Completed final site grading and landscape restoration.
